Shikha Pandey was bought for INR 60 lakh by the Delhi Capitals at the inaugural WPL auction. Along with swing, seam and pace, Shikha brings a lot of experience to the table. She's been a part of two T20 World Cups (2020, 2023) and was a part of the Indian side that reached the final of the 50-over World Cup in 2017 in England. She has one of the best inswingers in the business and has the ability to make the best use of the conditions early on. The Capitals will be relying on her to provide early breakthroughs. She can double up as a handy lower-order batter as well. She had a good outing in the 2023 WPL where she finished as the highest wicket-taker for UPW with 10 wickets from 9 matches.
