Pooja Vastrakar, a right-arm pacer from Madhya Pradesh, is known for her pace and movement off the pitch. An all-format India player, she was named in the squad for the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Vastrakar has an impressive bowling average of 21.41 with 58 wickets in 72 T20Is. Such was the promise in Vastrakar’s talent that Mumbai Indians secured her for INR 1.90 crore at the inaugural TATA WPL auction and retained her for the next two seasons. Injury concerns have hampered her in recent times, and she missed WPL 2025. But WPL 2026 gives Vastrakar a fresh start with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
