Shikha Pandey was bought for INR 60 lakh by the Delhi Capitals at the inaugural TATA WPL auction. Along with swing, seam and pace, Shikha, who has played multiple World Cups for India, has a lot of experience. Pandey has one of the best inswingers in the business and possesses the ability to make the best use of the conditions early on. Not to forget her ability to hit the ball hard down the order. Consistently picking wickets at a miserly economy rate, the experienced Pandey's tally of 30 wickets across the first three WPL seasons has cemented her place as the leading wicket taker in the league among Indian players. After three seasons with DC, Pandey will now ply her trade for UP Warriorz (UPW), where her experience will be invaluable.
