Named as a replacement for the injured Kashvee Gautam in TATA WPL 2024, Sayali Sathgare's eventual WPL debut was also eventful. In Gujarat Giants' game against Delhi Capitals, the all-rounder became the first concussion substitute in WPL history, replacing Dayalan Hemalatha. While she played just the one game in WPL 2024, Sathgare went on to make her ODI debut in January 2025. A right-handed middle-order batter and right-arm pacer, Satghare impressed with her death bowling in the Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy 2024.
