Off-spinner, Sajeevan Sajana from Wayanad, Kerala made an impressive mark at WPL 2024 for Mumbai Indians after being snapped up INR 10 lakh. Her vital contributions lower down the order with the bat highlighted her clean striking ability and added bonus runs to the MI totals in 2024. She had the second best batting strike rate of 158.18 in the tournament. Not only her batting, Sajana’s fielding brilliance were at their full display too. She was rewarded the Best Catch of the Season 2024 award for her outstanding catch against UP Warriorz. Ahead of TATA WPL 2026, Sajana was picked up by Mumbai Indians again for INR 75 lakh. The balance that Sajana brings will be of great importance for MI especially in the middle and death overs as they look to add another trophy to their illustrious cabinet.
