Belonging from Kolkata, Saika Ishaque was picked up by Mumbai Indians for INR 10 lakh in the inaugural season and has been one of the top bowlers in the all three seasons for them. With a strong domestic background, Saika’s slow-left arm bowling has been a trump card for MI. She arrived at the grandest stage in a grand manner, finishing the first season as the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. In the second season, she picked up from where he left with a consistent run as she finished as MI’s second-highest wicket taker in the tournament. Ahead of the fourth season, Ishaque was trusted again by MI as she was picked for INR 30 lakh.
