Born on September 25, 1999, Pooja Vastrakar hails from Bilaspur, Madhya Pradesh. Pooja made her international debut in 2018 against South Africa. The right-arm pacer has featured in all three formats for India. She made her Test debut against England at Bristol in 2021. Vastrakar is known for her ability to consistently bowl at good pace and generate movement off the pitch. She has demonstrated promising performances with the ball at both - domestic and international levels. The right-arm pacer was picked by the Mumbai Indians for INR 1.90 crore at the inaugural WPL auction and retained for the second season. With Vastrakar in the side, MI will be hoping to obtain early wickets through her pace and ability to challenge the batters early in the innings.
