Interested in and talented at multiple sports as a teenager, Nadine de Klerk was only 17 when she made her ODI debut against India in 2017. Since then, she has played in more than 130 international matches for South Africa across formats. De Klerk, a right-arm medium pacer who can also hit the ball hard with bat in hand, is known for her versatility and consistency. She played a crucial role in South Africa’s run to the finals of both the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 and the ICC Women’s Cricket ODI World Cup 2025, showing her ability to prevail under immense pressure. The highly experienced De Klerk, who played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their victorious TATA WPL 2024 campaign before being picked by Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 2025 season, is now back with RCB.
