Nicknamed 'the Megastar', Meg Lanning is one of the greatest captains ever and a match-winner with the bat. Lanning scored over 8000 runs in 241 international matches, and her glittering trophy cabinet consists of five T20 World Cups, two ODI World Cups, and a Commonwealth Games gold medal. With 345 runs from 9 innings, Lanning was the highest run-getter in the inaugural TATA WPL season and was second only to compatriot Ellyse Perry in 2024. Lanning is one of only three batters with over 900 WPL runs, and is the only captain to have made the final in each of the first three seasons - with Delhi Capitals.
