A slow left-arm orthodox bowler, Linsey Smith is set for her maiden season in the TATA WPL after being onboarded by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for INR 30 lakh. After making her international debut in late 2018, Smith had a stop-and-start run in international cricket, waiting almost seven years for her ODI debut at the age of 30. She had a massive impact on debut against West Indies, bagging a five-wicket haul. The Middlesex native further impressed in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, picking up 12 wickets and ending the tournament as England’s second-highest wicket-taker. Smith will now aim to make her mark in the WPL.
