Born on May 15, 2002 in London, England, Isabelle Wong is an all-rounder who started her cricketing journey after moving to Warwickshire at the age of five. In December 2021, Wong was named in England's A squad for their tour to Australia. The all-rounder made her Test debut against South Africa in 2022 and less than a month later, played her maiden ODI for England, where she scalped three wickets on debut. The Mumbai Indians spent INR 30 Lakhs to get the all-rounder at the inaugural WPL auction and she lived up to the expectations, finishing as the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. She will again be the key as MI look to defend their title.
