A wily spinner and a dependable all-rounder, Deepti was UPW’s second-highest wicket-taker in 2023 with 9 wickets, UPW’s leading run-scorer in WPL 2024 with 295 runs and also the league’s 4th highest run-scorer that year. The star all-rounder was also adjudged the Player of the Tournament for her outstanding contributions with both bat and ball in the 2024 edition. Known for her composure under pressure, Deepti also led the UP Warriorz in 2025. Later that year, she was the Player of the Tournament in India’s historic ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup winning campaign. That success led to UPW bringing her back on board for INR 3.2 crore in the 2026 Mega Auction, making her the joint second-most expensive player ever.
