Delhi Capitals bought back Aparna Mondal for her base price of INR 10 Lakh at the TATA WPL Auction 2024. She was a part of the Delhi Capitals squad in the first season as well. A right-handed wicketkeeper-batter, Mondal plays for Railways on the domestic circuit and has also represented Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Mondal, who was Railways' 2023 Senior Women’s One Day Trophy winning side, is yet to play a WPL game, but has gained from the experience of sharing the dressing room with world-class campaigners.
